So… list still stays same? :)

U might also get some good start up information from there http://www.zone-h.org/content/view/76/86/ – list chinese hackers/hackergroups and then google about them : )

People you’ve mentioned are generally too old. they haven’t been seeking new tech for long time. if you’re serious to this list I’m really wondering the quality of your book.

  7. Heikeon 28 Feb 2009 at 8:42 am

    Dixia,

You are right, I haven’t updated this list in a long time. Most of these guys are the founders of the Red Hacker Alliance and not the ones currently involved.

The first generation laid the foundations for the current movement, so I’ve included them on this page.

Try to keep most of the new stuff that is happening on the regular blog.

Tell you what sparky, if you want, I will let you have a free download of the book. Then make comments.

Was 2007 the last date this list was updated? I think some of these profiles need attention, that and maybe tracking these guys would be easier if you used Google Maps, or Google Earth.

  11. Heikeon 13 Apr 2009 at 11:15 am

    BBX,

Yeah, I have been very slack in keeping this page updated. Got a lot of names to add to this list as well.

Love the idea for a Google Earth/Maps tracker. It would probably needed to be based off ISP rather than home location. Although, if the information was available, two maps might work.

    Hey.

Can you people please save your “Teach me to hack” responses for another place. No matter where you go, as long as it has something to do with hacking, you will always find 1 or 2 people asking for us to give them all the answers.

If you guys can’t even be bothered to at least try to learn yourself, then I’m afraid you just don’t have what it takes to ever become a hacker.

Great project. I hope it will be updated even further as soon as possible.

Did you just make these up? If you have there names why not find them and “deal” with them?

  16. Rapidshare Forumon 09 Jul 2009 at 12:32 am

You could have also reported them to the police.

  17. Heikeon 09 Jul 2009 at 4:07 am

    Rapidshare,

No, the names are not made up and the authorities are aware of their activities.

They live in China, so “dealing” with them is not as easy as you might think.

Am I the only one wondering why the Chinese Hacker network is afraid of attacking Muslim Extremist’s websites?

The Taliban, Al Qaeda and others are openly attacking Chinese interests throughout the world. Probably the most open cases are the continuous attacks against the $4 Billion Chinese Copper mine in Afghanistan along with there support for the Islamist movement in China. Yet the supposedly patriotic group of Chinese hackers does nothing but stand on the sidelines. It makes me ashamed to be half-Chinese. If I had their talents I would be in open warfare against these organizations especially since their funding exists solely on the internet. It seems like the perfect target. What is the Taliban going to do call China and press charges, lol!
