I hope I can go to Beijing next year. Talk about information security conferences in Asia, HITB Malaysia sounds good to me. I want to go there if my boss permits.

I went in 2006, pretty much the same. Microsoft has sponsored them every year as well as NSFOCUS. NSFOCUS is just a name change for the Green Army, China’s first hacker organization gone legit.

I was planning to attend Xcon2009, but the official web site is so terribly done that it actually discouraged me from visiting Beijing. They didn’t even posted the speakers info until the “last minutes”.

Besides, I don’t recall they indicates in their website that Microsoft is one of their sponsor?!
