every1s0bvious,

This is becoming a big problem for Beijing and the Chinese hackers may find themselves in a spot of trouble.

In the early years, the nationalist period, few Chinese hackers would do anything inside the country. That has changed now that the average Chinese citizen has more disposable income. In other words, there is something to steal.

China has been adding more teeth to laws regarding online crime. We will have to wait and see if they start going after all brands (internal and external) of hackers.

They have also made strides to clarify what constitutes illegal activity on the webs. It was difficult to prosecute certain crimes due to poorly worded legislation.

LOL, that is hilarious. Real criminal hackers that AREN'T working for the government to go to the government and get them arresting one of their own.

Hrrm.

And funny thing is. Don't you think if these hacker groups were really distant from their government as ours tend to be, that they would be even more distant not having the sorts of rights we have? It is a totalitarian government. "China is against cybercrime"! (So China says.)

Obviously, you see this in what you found, but just wanted to talk about the 800 lb gorilla picking at gnits in his coat.

LOL.

Hackers turning each other over to the police? "no honor among thieves" indeed!

Then again, I guess a victim is a victim, regardless of their own illegal pastimes.
