PRC Hacker Street Tax
Some Chinese hackers have been arrested for performing DDoS extortion attacks. The hackers launched a successful denial of service attack on a well-known website and then send an SMS text message asking for 30,000RMB (about 4,400 USD). At least one of the hackers was arrested on April 7th in Changsha City, Hunan Province.

I wonder how they catch the suspect? By tracing SMS source? Or Bank account?
In similar cases, the hackers used their own bank accounts to deposit the money and were pretty easy to track down.
Pah, that is a shameful way of being arrested….well, after the trouble they went through to blackmail the company(s).
