Mpg31337,

Afraid that is yearly. However, if you want to live in China, some of the Western companies pay pretty good cash to teach their employees English.

Hey Richard,

Hackbase is one of the largest hacker websites in China. Their website has been expanding to include individual blog postings but they mainly function as a training site. That is how a lot of the larger websites make their money. Selling training programs, memberships, CDs...etc.

They also act as a clearing house for Chinese hacker news. That is one of the reasons I go to them so often. Hackbase usually has the top news for events in the hacker community.

My guess is that the offer to go to the US, UK, Hong Kong...etc, is just to attract recruits/applicants. I've never heard of one of these groups having paid members working in other countries. Overseas students sure but not actual paid staff members. Really doubt that this is serious but I was interested in the salary range they were paying.
