Thank god we had men like our founding fathers…mine would have gone something like this:

(hands over slightly beer-soaked napkin)

While I love our founders…they could be wordy.

1) Part one, we want to break away and enjoy our own freedom and we are going to explain why.

2) Part two, the most powerful message the document puts forth. Governments derive their power from the governed. People are born with these rights and are not granted them by the government. If the people find the government too despotic, they have an obligation to overthrow that body.

3) Part three, long list of how you have violated the above rights.

4) Part four, we have warned you and have been patient. You have failed to heed our pleas.

5) Part five, summary, we are now independent and we are unified in the endeavor.
