It describes sending commands to the server so fast that the old commands aren't cleared before the new ones are answered (something like that). I think that sounds like a SYN flood. Or perhaps given the experiences I've had, could it be some spam email address harvest bots or bots harvesting blog URLs for future spam comment bots. After all when they say the IPs resolve back to Europe, I'd have different suspicions if the IPs were based in Romania or Russia than if they came from the UK. Hacked? or was this just a DDoS?
