Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) database hit by Chinese Hackers
From the architectsjournal.co.uk:
The institute revealed that last weekend security on its web system was breached by Chinese internet fraudsters who planted a web address on the RIBA database.
As a result, the database was temporarily shut down and the Metropolitan Police contacted – although the institute insists it has so far uncovered no ‘criminal or malicious intent’ and has not detected any attempts to steal members’ details from the information bank.
